Through research, strategy, facilitation, co-creation, and prototyping, we bring people together to understand what’s happening, imagine what could be, and turn ideas into action. From placemaking and community engagement to organizational strategy and experience design, we use design to help people shape the places and communities around them.
Makehouse creates hands-on experiences that get people out of their heads and working with their hands.
Many of our programs intentionally create space for women to make, explore, connect, and keep their creative lives moving forward.

Makehouse creates opportunities for people, ideas, and disciplines to collide. Through dinners, conversations, exhibitions, visiting creatives, community events, and unexpected collaborations, we bring people together to exchange ideas, find inspiration, and discover what might be possible together.
